You can only get one upgrade a month and so that's about 10 hours of playing before you can upgrade anything else.Īnyway the game is awesome, farming is amazing, but there are some really weird design choices. The biggest gripe with the game is the time gated upgrades. You start to spend your days managing your pathetically small inventory instead of doing anything else. On top of that now you can actually store your items permanently.Īt this point the game goes from you making ~500k a season to upwards of 10 MILLION in a single summer! At this point the game also turns in to the biggest inventory management mess ever. Suddenly you don't need to rely on Gombe to get seeds, you just save them from season to season. That being said there's some pretty huge design flaws in the game but whats weird about it is that these flaws change constantly when you play the game.Īt the start of the game, the biggest frustrations are easily the shop store not selling the seeds/fertilizer you need, items depreciating and going rotten too fast, and the fact that WINNING at the cooking challenges prevents you from upgrading your farm.Īll of these get remedied once you get the seed maker (honestly the game becomes amazing once you get this) and the metal Chicken kart refrigerator in year 3 which prevents food from going bad. Having trenches and being able to use fertilizer on all your crops pretty easily is great. I actually like the game so much I think because of the crop system. I'm currently on year 7 in the game and I still have a lot of fun with it. Kedua desa itu dihubungkan oleh terowongan. is there anyone else out there who loves it as much as i do? someone who /doesnt/ bash it in favor of the other 3ds games? Fill up your watering can and sharpen your hoe, because it's time for Harvest Moon: The Tale of Two Towns Players will pick a home in one of two towns. Harvest Moon : Tale of two towns Release Date: J(JPN) Septem(USA) Genre: Simulation, RPG Publisher: Marvelous Interactive, Natsume (North America) Developer: Marvelous Interactive Story : Desa Konohana dan Bluebell dulunya berteman baik, walaupun ada perbedaan diantara mereka. Still, a tale of two towns holds a special place in my heart. unfortunately i cant find it in myself to play this game any longer. i give it props for making everything easier, though. the graphics are even worse for this game because of the shading and font style/size. i have all the basic countries unlocked and im practically rolling in dough because of the flax trick, but i just dont find it appealing. the character portraits and fonts were good, though. Ive played anb from start to end but i utterly hate the graphics. yes its extremely tedious and the fertilizer system (and the crop system in general) is downright terrible but i still prefer it over a new beginning and story of seasons. the graphics and art style are cute, and there's a charm to it i cant quite describe. Personally, tott is by far my favorite title in the franchise.
